JMS scientific editor introduces the journal in 2023 Annual Meeting of Landslide and Debris Flow Control

     Dr. ZHOU Gordon, the scientific editor of Journal of Mountain Science (JMS) made a presentation to introduce the journal to the conference participants during the 2023 Annual Meeting of Landslide and Debris Flow Committee of Chinese Soil and Water Conservation Society (CSWCS). The participants showed high interest in the journal and expressed their willingness to submit manuscripts to JMS. Some of them have once been the journal’s reviewers or authors.

     The 2023 Annual Meeting was sponsored by the Landslide and Debris Flow Committee of CSWCS, was jointly organized by the National Field Observation and Research Station of Landslides in Three Gorges Reservoir Area of Yangtze River, the Key Laboratory of Geological Hazards on Three Gorges Reservoir Area (Ministry of Education), Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment (IMHE) in Chinese Academy of Sciences. The 2023 Annual Meeting was held in a combination of online and offline form, with the main onsite venue set up in Yichang. CUI Peng, JMS Editor-in-chief and CSWCS vice President, WANG Yujie, CSWCS vice President, GONG Cheng, Vice Secretary-General of CSWCS, LI Dongsheng, Vice President of China Three Gorges University, and CHEN Xiaoqing, Vice director of IMHE and President of the Landslide and Debris Flow Committee attended the meeting and delivered speeches. About 200 onsite and 400 online experts and scholars from more than 150 universities, institutes, enterprises and public institutions attended the meeting.
