"Ecological assets and ecosystem services in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau"

         The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is an important ecological barrier for China and a sensitive area of global climate change. Under the influence of global climate change and human activities, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ecosystem and ecosystem services have undergone significant changes, which have a series of impacts on the hydrology, water resources and economic and social development of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and surrounding areas. Quantitative assessment of the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ecosystem assets and ecosystem services is of great significance to the sustainable management of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ecosystem and ensuring regional ecological security.

          In order to reveal the characteristics of the evolution of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ecosystem assets and ecosystem services, on the basis of the second comprehensive scientific investigation of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, "Journal of Mountain Science" intends to set a special column on of ecological assets and ecosystem services in  the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with Dr. ZHENG Hua from Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences and  Dr. FU Bin from the Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences as the guest editors. Scholars who have conducted or are doing related research in this field Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are welcomed to contribute your manuscripts to Journal of Mountain Science.

          The topics include:  1) The ecosystem evolution characteristics; 2) The remote sensing retrieval of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ecosystem parameters; 3) The assessment of ecological assets and ecosystem services; 4) Human  impact on the ecological assets and important ecosystem services ; 6) Sustainable ecosystem management

           For manuscript preparation, please follow the JMS Authors Guide (http://jms.imde.ac.cn/for-authors). All manusripts should be submitted to the journal online manuscript system (https://mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/jmsjournal).

           Authors who would like to have your articles included in the special column should indicate in the Cover letter "This manuscript is submitted for the special column of ecological assets and ecosystem services on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau". Deadline for submission is September 30, 2020..

青藏高原生态资产和生态系统服务研究专栏征稿通知

       青藏高原是我国重要的生态屏障,也是全球气候变化敏感区域。在全球气候变化和人类活动影响下,青藏高原生态系统及生态系统服务发生了显著变化,对青藏高原及周边区域的水文与水资源以及经济社会发展带来一系列影响。定量评估青藏高原生态系统资产与生态系统服务时空变化特征,对于青藏高原生态系统可持续管理与区域生态安全具有重要意义。

       为了反映青藏高原生态系统资产与生态系统服务的最新变化,结合第二次青藏高原综合科学考察研究,《Journal of Mountain Science》拟邀请中国科学院生态环境研究中心郑华研究员和中国科学院、水利部成都山地灾害和环境研究所傅斌研究员作为客座编辑,组织出版"青藏高原生态资产与生态系统服务研究"专栏。现诚挚邀请国内外从事青藏高原生态保护研究的专家、学者们踊跃投稿。

       征文范围 :1)青藏高原生态系统结构与功能;2)青藏高原生态系统参量遥感反演;3)青藏高原生态资产评估;4)青藏高原生态系统服务评估;5)人类活动对青藏高原生态资产和重要生态系统服务的影响;6)青藏高原生态系统可持续管理;7)青藏高原生态保护其它研究内容。
