1^st Session of Outstanding Board Member and Scientific Editor Award

in Journal of Mountain Science

The editorial office of Journal of Mountain Science (JMS) is now releasing the list of the 1^st session of outstanding board member and scientific editor award to recognize the active contribution and outstanding work of board members and scientific editors in the journal development.

The outstanding board members and scientific editors are nominated and recommended by the editorial office and finally determined by the editor-in-chief. The recommendation is based on the following aspects:

1)        organizing special issues (or organizing manuscripts under special topics);

2)        contributing papers or recommending high quality papers to JMS;

3)        the quantity, quality, and efficiency of initial review, peer review, and manuscript management;

4)        being actively involved in the journal's development; 

5)        journal promotion internationally.

As this is the first time to award board members and scientific editors, totally 20 are awarded in this session by considering their past years' contribution to the journal. Their names are listed alphabetically below.
