IMHE Recruits Talents for the "One Hundred Talents Program"

The IMHE (Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, CAS, Chengdu, China) welcomes qualified applicants who are interested in the following job vacancies to join in our team:

(1)      Leading Scientists Specialized in Mountain Hazard Research

Job Responsibilities: Leading the team to formulate discipline development planning, proposing strategic and leading edge research initiatives, and taking measures to improve academic performance in mountain hazard research.

Qualifications: Having outstanding scientific credentials and international influence in fields related to mountain hazard research.

Salary and Welfare: Besides the salary and welfare provided by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to the scholars of "One Hundred Talents Program", IMHE will provide startup fund above 1,000,000 Yuan (RMB) , annual salary of 400,000 Yuan, and living subsides of 200,000 Yuan.

(2)    Senior Engineers Specialized in Mountain Hazard Prevention and Mitigation Research or Equipment and Facility Research and Development

Job Responsibilities: Carrying out prototype observations and experimental simulations on mountain hazards to meet scientists' requirements and targets.

Qualifications: Having rich experiences in field observations and experimental simulations on mountain hazards including debris flows, landslides; having the capacity to develop debris flow, landslide or earthquake simulation systems, equipments or facilities.

Salary and Welfare: Besides the salary and welfare provided by the Chinese Academy of Sciences to the scholars of "One Hundred Talents Program", IMHE will provide positions of vice chiefs of the field observation stations. In the job tenure, IMHE will offer an annual salary of 250,000 Yuan and house subsides of 200,000 Yuan.

Chief scientist of Mountain hazards：

岗位职责是组织制定学科建设发展规划，推动山地灾害领域的学术进步和学科发展，提出具有基础性、关键性、前瞻性的研究布局和项目，组织带领科研团队从事高水平科学研究与技术攻关。

要求具有较深的学术造诣和广泛的国际学术影响力，年富力强。

除中国科学院率先行动百人计划项目提供的待遇外，研究所还按需求提供百万元级科研启动费，执行期内提供40万年薪和20万元生活补贴；

2、防灾减灾工程或设备仪器研发正高级工程师

Professor of Engineering（Mountain hazards prevention and Mitigation Engineering or Equipment development）：

岗位职责是执行山地灾害的原型观测和实验模拟，实现科学家提出的观测和实验目标。

要求具有泥石流、滑坡等山地灾害野外观测、模拟实验系统或地震台等大型装置研发经验，能够解决关键技术问题、推动技术创新，并取得过一流成果。

除中国科学院率先行动百人计划项目提供的待遇外，研究所还可聘任为野外台站技术副站长，执行期内提供25万年薪和20万购房补贴。
